“Corpo de Patrulheiros Mirins” (Child Patrol Corps): insertion of young people into the labor market with vocational training.

A committee that holds regular meetings to monitor employees with disabilities, raise awareness and encourage diversity. These meetings allow:

• Attract, hire, retain and train candidates with disabilities
• Fight discrimination and prejudice
• Recognize and value differences
• Encourage and ensure the inclusion of people with disabilities in the work environment
• Make each and every professional aware of the importance and need to welcome and respect others
• Encourage teamwork based on living with individual differences

WE CURRENTLY COOPERATE WITH SEVERAL SOCIAL ACTIONS, INCLUDING:

Verzani & Sandrini and Santa Marcelina Cultura aims at training people through artistic-pedagogical activities for the children and youth groups of the Guri Program in the capital and metropolitan area of São Paulo. 

This partnership benefits about 400 students and will fund 60 music concerts, in addition to more than 300 rehearsals.

Located in Santo André, the Todo Mundo Feliz Institution (in English, “Everyone Happy Institution”) is dedicated to providing assistance to low-income families in the city. To collaborate with the organization, the Social Department and the Organizational Human Development (OHD) team from Verzani & Sandrini provided free training on proper sanitation procedures, in order to promote professional training for the cleaning team that works at the site.

In early 2014, Verzani & Sandrini became one of the Social Investors of the Amélia Rodrigues Institution,a non-profit organization that provides social and educational assistance to children up to ten years old who are in vulnerable situation in the city of Santo André. Founded in 1992, the entity offers Early Childhood Education activities, and counts on a multifunctional team of health professionals.

Implemented by São Paulo City Hall, the “New Work Project” aims to employ individuals who are homeless. To support the initiative, Verzani & Sandrini committed to hiring and training 200 people through the project. New professionals are being closely monitored by a multifunctional team so that they can effectively go back to labor market and thus find the opportunity they need to start over their lives.

Based in the city of São Bernardo do Campo and operating for over three decades, Casa dos Velhinhos Dona Adelaide (Dona Adelaide Aged Care Facility) is dedicated to welcoming and assisting a total of 36 elderly people with total or precarious absence of family ties. The entity, which has been supported by Verzani & Sandrini since 2014, provides medical care, as well as a social worker, a psychologist, a physiotherapist and a nutritionist.

Adere is a non-profit organization that has been offering specialized and highly qualified care to people with intellectual disabilities since 1972. The purpose of the project is to train these individuals for the job market, as well as to restore their self-esteem and enable them to live in the society fully exercising their citizenship.

All recyclable paper discarded in our Administrative Units is donated to the Adere Institution, which reuses the material to fund part of its activities. The entity’s mission is to provide development, education and exceptional recovery.

In operation since 2004, the Associação Gotas de Orvalho provides assistance to socially vulnerable families in the city of Santo André, distributing food baskets and clothing, and promoting special events. In 2016, Verzani & Sandrini started contributing to the entity and, with the help of its employees, collected and distributed Christmas bags for the “Solidary Christmas” campaign.

The purpose of Ronald McDonald House Charity in the ABC metropolitan area is to be a “home away from home”, offering full support to children and teenagers affected by cancer and undergoing treatment in hospitals in the metropolitan area of São Paulo, accompanied by their families.
